The ASUS Prime Z890M-Plus WiFi is a Micro-ATX motherboard for gaming, content creation and everyday desktop builds. It is based on the Intel Z890 chipset and uses the LGA1851 socket, supporting Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2). The board measures 24.4 cm x 24.4 cm (9.6 x 9.6 inches).

Four DIMM slots support DDR5 memory up to 256GB, with overclocked speeds of 8666+ MT/s and support for Intel XMP profiles. Networking includes Realtek 2.5Gb Ethernet with LANGuard, onboard Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4. Audio is provided by a Realtek 7.1 surround sound codec.

Expansion includes a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot from the CPU, one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (x4 mode) and two PCIe 4.0 x16 slots (x1 mode). Storage options are three M.2 slots (one PCIe 5.0 x4 and two PCIe 4.0 x4) and six SATA 6Gb/s ports. The rear I/O provides a USB 20Gbps Type-C port with DisplayPort, one USB 10Gbps Type-A port, four USB 5Gbps Type-A ports and two USB 2.0 ports.
