The ASUS TUF Gaming Z890-Plus WiFi DDR5 is an ATX motherboard for gaming and general high-performance desktop builds. It is based on the Intel Z890 chipset and uses the LGA1851 socket, supporting Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2). The board measures 30.5 cm x 24.4 cm (12 x 9.6 inches).

Four DIMM slots support DDR5 memory up to 256GB, with overclocked speeds of 9066+ MT/s and support for Intel XMP profiles. Networking is handled by Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet with TUF LANGuard, plus onboard Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4. Audio uses the Realtek ALC1220P 7.1 surround sound codec.

For expansion, the board provides a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot from the CPU for the graphics card, along with additional PCIe 4.0 slots. Storage options include four M.2 slots (one PCIe 5.0 x4 and three PCIe 4.0 x4) and four SATA 6Gb/s ports. The rear I/O includes a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, a USB 20Gbps Type-C port, three USB 10Gbps Type-A ports and three USB 5Gbps Type-A ports.
